Hello, my dear friends! In the height of summer, poolside or beach front seems like the only places people want to spend hours at. Even non-swimmers like me, putting on bathing suits makes me feel instantly cooler and more socially blending in when I am at a resort or beach town. With swimwear getting dressier, and bodysuit outfitting become mainstream, wearing a swimsuit as a bodysuit is not only acceptable, but also the kind of effortless chic way of going around the vacation town.
In today’s outfit, I simply put a pair of silk printed balloon pants over a swimsuit with frills. Made the whole look a little dressier with pearl statement earrings, retro big-rim rounded sunglasses, and pointy toe kitten heels, while balance it out a bit with a canvas bucket bag.
How about a straw bag and espadrilles, the waterfront essentials nowadays all retailers seem to have a abundance of, you ask? Definitely yes, they give even more easy-going vibes when paired with swim wear and coverups. Depends on how dressy you need the finished look to be, use more or less leather accessories and statement jewelries can change the overall presence of a swim wear outfit.
Don’t forget the finishing touch, a straw hat or a head scarf. You will be amazed how much more pazzazz they can add to any look.
This outfit was taken at my friend Samatha’s vacation home in Miami, she is an outstanding stylist and exquisite woman. We did a little “jam styling” with out looks, so here are more images of us for your enjoyment. Check out Samatha’s personal blog for more of her amazingness.
