It may not come as a surprise to you, but I’ve always been a sneaker girl. As far as I can remember, I was always rocking a casual shoe with my outfits. Like in elementary school while everyone was still obsessing over jelly shoes, I was onto Sketchers. Old news people!
Well this summer (and into fall) I’m already planning all my sneaker purchases. I’m going to share my 3 favorite white sneakers in rotation in my closet right now because they’re staples in my wardrobe.

Nike Air Max 90
The Nike Air Max 90’s are my top pick right now because they go with with everything from mini dresses to cropped pants or even a super casual sweatsuit. They have an athletic vibe but not like “I’m going on a run” like other sneakers could.
I’m also going to let you in on my little secret. I always order the kids size sneaker! If you’re a women’s size 5.5-8.5 you can order the kid’s size because it’s always cheaper than the Adult size and I feel like they never make the classic’s in women’s sizing. They always make the classics in kid’s though!
These are perfect year round sneakers and they’re super comfy too. I feel like they never go out of style either. I have some fave Air Max’s from years ago that I love and hold on to.
Nike Air Force 1 ’07
The Nike Air Force 1’s have always been a classic in my closet. I find myself buying a new pair every couple of years to keep things fresh. These are definitely my go to sneakers when it comes to wearing sneakers with a dress. They go perfect with any length of dress and scream casual cute. Keep it business on the top and party on the bottom for an effortless, fun look. You can’t have all business all the time!
Transitioning into fall I’ll be wearing these with cute little socks, ruffled, glitter or fishnet socks to keep things seasonally cool.
Yeah, I’m going to keep it general like that and just say Vans. I feel like there’s a pair of Vans for every outfit and I can’t get enough. My new favorite are these Vans Old Skool Mules because they’re so easy to throw on and literally look good with everything. I love the casual look of the classic old skool sneakers and they pair nice with any length of outfit.
If you’re keeping it short with a mini dress, romper or shorts, I love the Sk8-Hi Top Sneaker to keep your look cool but also make your legs look long. The Hi Tops could make you look short with the wrong length of pant or dress so keep that in mind!
Nothing is easier than a slip on. You could wear these Slip On Sneakers with anything to make your look a little more simple. I love my slip ons instead of a sandal for those casual summer nights.
Will you trade in your heels and boots for sneakers with your next look?
