Linen for hot weather
Linen is hands down one of the best fabrics for hot weather. It’s light, breezy, and gives off major vacation vibes as well. I love wearing it during the warmer months when I want to look casual, but still put together. I own a few linen pieces, and you better believe that I live in them during the summer! Today’s post is dedicated to one of them, so read on and see how I style it!
My sleeveless trench is sold out from H&M, but check out some cute picks below!
OOTD – My Beige Life
I’ve been saving this sleeveless trench to wear once it got warm enough. It’s still not super warm, but I just couldn’t hold myself back anymore!?I chose to wear it closed so that it gave off more of a trench coat dress vibe. (Check out my mini trench coat dress post here!)
I kept my shoes neutral as well and added a gold watch for a more sophisticated touch. Even though linen is an easy-going fabric, I love how it can be easily dressed up with the right accessories. Since I wanted a more urban look than a casual one, I made sure to add the right elements. The addition of my leather and metal bag also added a chicer vibe.
How you feel about linen
Let me know how you guys feel about linen below. Love it? Or hate it for how wrinkly it gets? ?(I for one would love it more if it was wrinkle-proof!) Still, a few wrinkles never hurt anyone, so I’m dealing with it. ?
xo love and good vibes
