I’ve already got weekend brain, so I thought I would share my idea of a perfect weekend outfit during the summer. This floral and striped romper from Bishop & Young is so effortless and easy to throw on and go. In fact, it doesn’t have any zipper or buttons, you literally just slip it on through the elastic waistband. Since I put together outfits for a living and am often super dressed up, I love wearing no-fuss pieces for the weekend. The ruffles on this romper make it interesting and versatile enough to be dressed up or dressed down.

For a casual weekend outfit, I paired my summer romper with my must-have M.Gemi slides that have become my new summer shoe. Just like the romper, these slide sandals are so easy to just throw on and go. The bow is hand-knotted in Italy, how cool is that? To add a pop of color to this otherwise blue look, I chose my vintage suede yellow handbag. I absolutely love how it contrasts against the rest of the outfit and instantly draws attention.

I completed the look with a tan colored hat. I love hats as an alternative to sunglasses for days in the park or at the beach. There’s just something so effortless about a summer hat. If you’re going for a weekend day trip, you could also pair this outfit with a light straw tote bag. The one I’m wearing is from the summer edition of the Rachel Zoe Box of Style. Since I’m a color girl, I added a fun colorful pom-pom to the bag. Don’t be afraid to accessorize and add to items to make them your own!
