Graduating and Feeling Depressed

graduating and feeling depressed

Hello angels!

It’s been a while. I took some time off from blogging to focus on my studies. And since I’ve now successfully finished my degree, I’m back! In this blog post, I’d like to update you as to where I’ve been and where I’m at the moment. Let’s get into it!

What now?

So yeah, I’m officially a bachelor of arts. Well, I’m graduating next month, so I guess I will really be one then. I suppose I should be celebrating, but the reality is that anxiety has cast its shade over me. Instead of being happy, the question ‘What now?’ has been plaguing my mind.

Lost my creativity

I feel like over the past few months, I’ve lost my creativity. The reason why it took me so long to come back to blogging is that I didn’t have any ideas for the content I’d like to put out. I’m active on my Instagram, but the fact that my blog has remained un-updated for so long has left me down.

Two weeks ago I went to the Czech Republic to visit my family for a week. And that’s when my mental health suffered the most. I fell into a deep state of depression, and the smallest mishaps left me shedding tears. At the moment, I’m doing better, but I’m still not feeling like myself. Not truly.

You can expect to see from me

As to the content you can expect to see from me, I’m definitely going to finish the How to Dress According to Your Body Shape series. I will be writing more fashion-related blog posts, such as trend reviews, trend forecasts, lookbooks, etc. I would also like to write a weekly update kind of blog post where I would just go through what happened each week to me, the lessons I learned from it, and so on. And then, I’ve been toying with the idea of reviewing Instagram famous cafés and restaurants to see if they are worth visiting. Sort of like I did with the Élan Café in Knightsbridge. In general, I’d like to also focus on lifestyle content rather than solely fashion.

Alright, I suppose that’s all for this update blog post, and I’m looking forward to seeing you soon!

xoxo, S. V.
