Ideas about What to Wear to the Office

As the temperature is rising, it’s time for a summer style awakening and a great place to start is knowing what to wear to the office! As office attire for women is starting to trend on the street as well, investing in some classic pieces can be a lucrative decision. These are the items you should be on a lookout for:

The White Shirt

White shirts are truly the staple of office wear and these days matched with a vintage-inspired high weighted denim pants and a pair of pointed mules, this borrowed from the boys item is your road to redemption. I also love to pair my sleeveless dresses with a white shirt and the bigger the collars the better!

The Nude Mid Heels

The perfect footwear to take your office look to the next level is for sure the nude mid heel shoes. Easily matched with any colour or pattern, comfortable to wear and walk around and an elongating weapon! You can’t ask for more! Mules are also very in trend this spring and summer and are coming in many different shapes and forms. For the office, I’d love to go with the pointier ones and kitten heels to embrace the classic office look!

Nothing says office wear like the plaid blazer. My absolute favourite is the double breasted blazers with a longer length to create a classic look. Also, paired with a belt at the waist, this office staple can also be matched with a dress or a long flowy skirt to create a balanced spring look for outside the office too.

The Mighty Trench

Trench coats are the ultimate classic spring outerwear that never go out of style and this year, they are spotted both on the runways and on the streets. When thinking about how to wear a trench a coat, my favourite style is the oversized long beige trench coats that can be easily matched with any shades. Specially during the traditional season when it’s still not too hot, this light outerwear can be the perfect addition to your wardrobe!
